Town councillors have again requested anyone who can help to come forward with a view to displaying an historic funeral bier in Tenby. Clr. Trevor Hallett told his colleagues at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council that work needed to be carried out to ensure that the Tenby bier, which was kept in storage by local funeral directors W. and M. J. Rossiter and Sons for over 30 years, before the town council took it in for safekeeping, was maintained. He also said that it was a shame that it couldn't be better displayed in the town and still hoped that someone would come forward with a view to achieving this.
