It's been a busy term at Tenby Infants Playgroup. The group has just purchased a new play kitchen thanks to a grant from the Healthy Eating Project. The children, as part of this project, also clean their teeth which they have fun doing. The playgroup would also like to say thank you for the grants from the PPA for the first aid boxes and the courses provided for staff training. In the autumn term, the children went for a walk in the woods, but more recently they went for a walk into town for an ice-cream. A big thank you to Crumbs and Cream who provided the ice-creams. The children certainly showed their appreciation by having empty bowls! Earlier in the term, Mrs. John, the headmistress, enjoyed a visit to the playgroup, being entertained by some singing and having some jelly made and dished out by the children. As the end of term is approaching, the children, together with the main school, will be proudly showing off the Easter bonnets and hats they have made, in an Easter parade for the parents to see. It has certainly been a fun and enjoyable term for the children and the staff.
