A Tenby hotel has been awarded two prestigious awards recognising the premises’ exemplary customer service along with its spectacular sea views.
The Panorama Hotel which is situated on The Esplanade, overlooking the seaside resort’s golden South Beach, with magnificent views towards Caldey Island and St. Catherine’s Island, has been awarded a ‘Recognition of Excellence’ award for 2017 by HotelsCombined, as well as scooping the Luxury Travel Guide ‘Sea View Hotel of the Year 2017’.
The HotelsCombined award is in recognition for consistently achieving the highest standards of ‘customer satisfaction’ worldwide, after the team at the travel website undertook the largest analysis of customer opinions online across millions of points of data.
The awards are based on data from customer feedback including - quality and consistency of guest reviews, customer ratings, the absence of recurring or unresolved issues, blogs, forums and social media posts.
Tenby’s Panorama Hotel is now listed in the top three per cent of accommodation worldwide for ‘customer satisfaction’ based on the survey data.
“We are thrilled to be working with the best hotels in the UK and the Panorama Hotel in Tenby is certainly among them,” said Paulina Krolikowska, market manager of HotelsCombined.
“The Recognition of Excellence awards celebrate the very best accommodation for delivering exemplary customer service.
“What is different about the Recognition of Excellence is the way information is gathered and analysed, it all depends on the guest and his or her experience with that particular accommodation.
“Specifically to date, we found and processed 223 opinions that guests at the Panorama Hotel have posted on a variety of different websites, forums and social media, resulting in an incredible score of 9.0 out of a possible 10.
“With HotelsCombined 30 million people are finding the best deal available online every month.
“With this award, we’d like to make it even easier for every traveller to identify the best hotel for customer service and therefore the best value for their money,” she added.
Panorama Hotel proprietor Debbie Hughes said: “We’re absolutely ecstatic to be in the top three per cent high performing hotels worldwide for customer satisfaction.
“It helps to love what you do and having grown up in a guest house since the aged of six, it obviously just comes naturally.
“The award from the Luxury Travel Guide for ‘Sea View Hotel of the Year 2017’ came as a complete surprise to us, but it’s fantastic to be recognised for what we do and love!” added Debbie.
