Work will commence early next week at Narberth's Moorfield Road and Northfield Road on raised new paving at the various bus stops.

This will be a significant benefit to all users. Some people have found it difficult, with a steep step up from low paving, to board a bus, especially some senior citizens and mothers with pushchairs etc.

Said County Clr. Wynne Evans: "I took action on this from a response from the bus service providers and some local residents.

"I have been assured by the contractors that they will do all possible to minimise the inconvenience caused during next week."
