The 15th annual sponsored cycle ride by members of Tenby RAOB Sunbeam Lodge raised the splendid total of £1,100 for charity.

The annual cycle rides were started by Bro. Alan Nash, when he cycled from Tenby to Pembroke.

This year's ride in September saw 20 cyclists, seven of them children, travelling some 40 miles through Pembrokeshire, from Tenby through St. Florence, Carew, Cresselly, Jeffreyston, Templeton, Cross Hands, Landshipping and Cresswell Quay, before returning to Tenby.

The money was shared between The Greenhill School Orchestra (£660) and TAG (£440), which provides support, information and holidays for children with Arthrogryposis, a progressive muscle wasting disease caused by a lack of amniotic fluid in the womb.

The money was presented to The Greenhill School's head of performing arts, Mr. Paul Rapi, and Jacqui Lintern and Marijke McBean, of TAG, by Deputy PGP Bro. Bob Mason ROH, at a special reception at Tenby Royal British Legion Club on Tuesday night.
