Plans to install a telecommunications mast and antennae at land at Tenby's Brynhir Service Reservoir came under the spotlight again this week.

But members of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park's development control committee were not able to deal with the O2 application as notice had been served by the applicant on the wrong landowner.

The committee did, however, agree to support the calling of a meeting involving all mobile phone operating companies to ascertain their requirements and to adopt a comprehensive approach in the future.

When the matter was brought before the meeting, it was pointed out that contrary to local concerns, the current application did not involve equipment for the emergency services.
