Tenby's 34th Boxing Day Swim will be hoping to break yet another record when it takes to the water this Christmas. For the aim of the 2004 event is to have the highest-ever number of sponsored swimmers amongst the hundreds of crazy bathers who take part. Last year's swim raised nearly £12,000 for charity and attracted the best-ever entry of 430 dippers. "We had some superb individual fund-raising efforts, but sadly, not everyone collected sponsorship," said Chris Osborne, chairman of Tenby Sea Swimming Association, which organises the plunge. "This year, we are urging everyone to help make a difference - and get themselves sponsored."
