The coach of a local boxing club is due to meet with Tenby councillors this month to float some ideas about relocating to a new venue.
Tenby Sharks Boxing Club recently announced that they had been dealt a ‘body blow’ after learning that they will no longer be able to train at at the De Valence Pavilion due to the venue having full commitments throughout the year.
Head coach Mark Davies issued a plea to find a permanent place for the club to train, preferably within the Tenby area.
Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council, the town clerk Andrew Davies told members that the boxing club’s coach had requested a meeting with councillors to explore a couple of ideas he had about where they could possibly relocate to.
