County AGM
For those members who are interested, the county annual meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 22, starting at 7.30 pm at the Pembroke Dock Quins Headquarters. Any Tenby member is entitled to attend.
Christmas Draw
This will take place on Sunday, December 17, and to add to the enjoyment our very own 'Calendar Girls' will be there to help 'spice' up the occasion. One of the lady members, who will remain annonymous, reckons we should make a proper calendar of them. They apparently first performed this routine at the ladies league presentation party held earlier this month and it was a 'wow'. Some of them have not laughed so much since the latest petrol increase! The date is always a popular occasion as it helps one get into the Christmas spirit, so this addition should make for a fullhouse. A time will be announced later, but it will definately be around midday.
Christmas Cheer
Is there no end to the generosity of your beloved committee. In their wisdom, they have now decreed that there will be a reduction in the price of all beer and lager sales from December 22 to January 6. You can now show your appreciation by buying your favourite committee member a pint. But be warned, this generosity does not include shorts and wines. Told you it was not all 'honey and roses', but next year it may all be free! Onwards and upwards!

Bonus Ball
Eric Dorling and Meryl were the two lucky members of the Bonus Ball syndicate to turn up trumps this week. Do not despair you could be the one next week. Annual Fees
These now fall due after the annual general meeting. I know Christmas is just around the corner, but besides making Santa Claus a happy man, you could also make our beloved treasurer a cheerful soul as well. So, if you are feeling 'flushed', pay him. And incidently, there is no increase in fees this year. The news gets better by the minute! Quizzes
There are two organisations already booked into the club for next year. We even supply a quizmaster for free, so if your organisation wants to hold a quiz, contact the club or hon. secretary, Dai Spencer.
Junior Section
The long journey to Llandrindod Wells certainly did its work in calming the nerves of the four juniors heading for the West v East Wales game. There was certainly plenty of laughter. All four came under close scrutiny from the selectors, with every wood being assessed. Thankfully, Dana, Joe, Ysie and Liam all acquitted themselves well, and received good reports at the end of the trial. Whether they have done enough to make the Welsh squad to play Scotland remains to be seen, but they were a credit to themselves, coaches and the club. All four will represent Heatherton in the pairs, where once again they will come under the microscope and be assessed. February is the date when the Welsh squad will be announced. The Juniors Youth Club Christmas party will be held on Friday, December 1, when there will be prizes for the most ingenious and best dressed. Fancy dress, of course, for all the juniors.
