Sir,
I write to say how much I enjoyed this year's Blues Festival.
The availability of the DeValence Pavilion was sorely missed last year and it was great to see it re-opened.
In the past, I would venture to Tenby about once every 20 years and was never really tempted to return more frequently, but since attending the third Blues Festival I have returned each year and thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the festival and the welcome of the town.
My wife and I usually have a holiday every other year in North America and Canada, but last year we had a delightful week in St. Florence with our two dogs. We rented a cottage for less than it costs to put our dogs in boarding kennels for two weeks.
It just goes to show that a well organised attraction such as the annual Tenby Blues Festival doesn't just impact on a weekend in November, it puts Tenby in our hearts and in our minds.
Thanks to the organisers for making the weekend such a notable one; it is easily becoming one of the best festivals in the country. Long may it continue.
Norman Griffiths,
Bridgend.
