Pembrokeshire was at its blue sky best when agricultural liaison officers from all the National Parks in Wales and England attended a two-day workshop in the county recently.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority's agricultural liaison staff hosted the workshop which discussed a wide range of issues. These included the Foot and Mouth crisis and its aftermath; agri-environmental and agri-food schemes; hill farming support and archaeology. Representatives from the farming community and the Welsh Development Agency attended various sessions as speakers.

The workshop was centred on St. David's and the National Park Visitor Centre and the group sampled Pembrokeshire hospitality, local produce and splendid weather. Pembrokeshire was seen at its best and all involved pledged to return to the county in the future.

Hosts were National Park agricultural liaison staff members Geraint Jones, Julie Webber, Mary Davies and Emyr Jones..
