Sir,
I have recently returned from yet another extremely enjoyable week in Tenby.
I first visited in 1976 for two sun-baked weeks (rain what is that? was the popular cry!).
Although many subtle changes have taken place over that time the overall impression blends into a miasma of visual joy around every corner waiting to be rediscovered.
My children now take me, and it is my wish to share this natural beauty with my grandchildren.
To fulfil my wishes, I require the good people of Tenby, the Observer, all members of the town council, irrespective of politics, and all people who have been touched by Tenby magic to take an interest in the development of the Gatehouse and Cinema site before it becomes a permanent 'blot on the landscape'.
I apologise in advance if my knowledge falls short of the reality of the situation. I would appreciate any information about the future intentions.
A. Huddy,
Warrington,
Cheshire.
