What a picture! This bird's eye view of Tenby's traffic-free streets was captured on camera by Observer staff member Carolyn Cox. It was taken from the top of St. Mary's Church tower during the church's fete on Wednesday afternoon and shows a crowd of people strolling through Tudor Square. The summer pedestrianisation scheme came into operation on Sunday and runs every day until Monday, September 3, between 11 am and 5 pm daily. The scheme is based on last year's experimental traffic order, which sees the walled town divided into three areas with varying degrees of permitted access. Motorists are warned of the pedestrianised zone as they enter High Street from The Norton and White Lion Street.
