Mrs. Vanessa Thomas and Mrs. Helen Cole, employees of Barclays Bank at Tenby and Pembroke, recently organised a Sausage and Mash evening, followed by slide shows, and raised the sum of £443 for the Carew Methodist Youth Club. Barclays Bank then matched the funds raised under the Employee Pound for Pound scheme, raising the final total of £886. The funds raised will help to modernise the Youth Centre, to meet the ever-growing demands of the 50 young people who regularly attend. The club members thank Vanessa and Helen for their continued support at the centre, and their valued service as Youth Club leaders.
