FRIENDS and those with fond memories of Tenby- born Malcolm Hughes will be delighted to learn of his recent success in achieving a Bronze Award in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. This scheme has been especially adapted for members of the Gateway Club in Newcastle. Malcolm took part in a wide range of activities to achieve this award, including camping and serving his local community. He continues to be active in Scouting and is a crucifer in his local church. Malcolm will be visiting Tenby later this month on holiday and hopes to meet up with his many friends to share happy memories that he still has of his old home town.
