Sir,
May I take this opportunity to say how delighted and honoured I am that I was re-elected as the Assembly Member for Carmarthen West & South Pembrokeshire. I would like to thank those people who voted for me and who were kind enough to deliver leaflets, put up posters and make telephone calls on my behalf.
May I also say that as the elected member I will, as I did before, serve the community as a whole and the individuals within. Whether your readers voted for me, for someone else or not at all, I am here to represent them and I would welcome everyone to my surgeries or to contact me directly on 01834 862943.
I would also like to pay tribute to my political opponents. Whilst I may not agree with their politics, it has been a pleasure to run the race with three other candidates who care about the constituency like I do.
Finally may I add that my passion for 'our patch' runs deep, we face many challenges, but we also have many opportunities and I will do all I can to help individuals, communities and local government to grasp every chance we are given to make Carmarthen West & South Pembrokeshire the best place in Wales to live and work.
