Dyfed and Glamorgan Army Cadets held their annual open day on Saturday at Pembrey Country Park.

It was a great family day out, and an opportunity for the public to meet the cadets and adult instructors to see what the ACF can offer.

Everyone enjoyed the climbing wall, while cadets also showed their skills on the air rifle range, with the cadets of the corps of drums entertaining the crowds.

Also present were the cadets and instructors of the 5th cadet Battalion Royal Welsh Band, who gave a stunning display.

The Lord Lieutenant of Dyfed and Honorary Colonel, Rt. Hon Robin Lewis, opened the event.

Next year's event at Pembrey will be held on June 5, and will be a bigger event to celebrate cadet 150 which is the 150th birthday of the Army Cadet Force.
