The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority is appealing for the public to assist in identifying those responsible for vandalising a beach wheelchair used in Saundersfoot, impacting essential services.

PCNPA shared: “On Tuesday night (May 26), one of our beach wheelchairs was vandalised in Saundersfoot. Two specialist tyres and an arm were stolen, causing £600 in damage.

“This wipes out the equivalent of all of last year’s donations in one night. This isn't just petty theft. Taking this chair out of circulation robs people of vital freedom, including those using it for comfort and dignity during end-of-life care.

“Police are currently reviewing CCTV. If you know anything, please contact them immediately.

“A temporary chair is in place as of today to keep the service running.”
