THE Rotary Club of Pembroke and Texaco (a Chevron Texaco Company) celebrate their 50th and 40th anniversaries, respectively, by joining forces once again to stage another musical extravaganza in aid of charity.
A musical treat is in store for everyone who attends 'A Night at the Movies' featuring the Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra. The concert is being staged at the very popular venue, The Follies Theatre, Folly Farm, at 7 pm on Saturday, February 7.
The 90-strong orchestra will be playing music from the movies: 'Gone with the Wind', '42nd Street', 'Ben Hur', 'James Bond', 'Lawrence of Arabia', 'Psycho', '633 Squadron', 'Raiders of the Lost Ark', 'Harry Potter' and many more.
The event is being generously sponsored by Texaco and arranged through the Rotary Club of Pembroke. All proceeds will go to the Rotary Club of Pembroke Charitable Fund which is distributed to local worthy causes.
