Sir,

May I thank the girls who work at the hairdressing salon in High Street who came to my rescue last Tuesday, when I tripped over a particularly dangerous piece of wood which was left lying on the ground outside their premises. Might I suggest to the council that it is removed before something worse happens? The girls saw me fall, came running over and half- carried me into their salon. There I was sat down and treated to a lovely cup of tea. Their kind and caring manner when I was feeling so shaken was an example to us all. Thank you again, girls.

Mrs. R. Wakeling,

7 Pentle Close, Pentlepoir.
