The new all-weather sports pitch at Tenby's Greenhill School came in for praise from local councillor this week. "The astroturf pitch is now fully operational and having seen it I'm delighted to report that it's a fabulous facility for the area," Clr. Mike Evans told his colleagues at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council. "I've also spoken to Rob Thomas, manager of the leisure centre, who are looking after the pitch, and he is very impressed as well." Clr. Evans urged youngsters who may wish to hire the pitch, but might not be able to meet the cost, to get in contact with Mr. Thomas at the leisure centre who could offer them details on the 'social exclusion' scheme where a pot was available to raise funds.
