Tenby's inshore lifeboat was requested to launch at 11.15 am on Saturday after Milford Haven Coastguard received reports from fishing boats of an abandoned kayak at anchor off a beach on Caldey Island.

After an extensive search by the lifeboat and coastguard teams, it was determined that the kayak was the property of a local person who was safe and well.
