Sir,
I am writing to thank you and the Tenby Observer team for the wonderful day I had whilst visiting Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends at Gwili Railway.
My sister Milly Vickery entered the competition and won the tickets, so I was over the moon when she gave them to me.
We set off from Tenby in Mummy's car and then caught a bus (I think it was Bertie) to the train station. There we had a ride on Daisey, who took us to see Thomas; I was so excited. When we went round the bend, I had a peek at Thomas, who was tooting loudly to welcome us.
We were then greeted at the next station by the Fat Controller, who explained all the activities for us to do; there was help required to clean up Percy (who had boiler flu), there was a Punch and Judy show, there was a miniature railway, a funfair and colouring. We then had chance to have a ride on Thomas himself - it was great!
Thank you again Tenby Observer and Gwili Railway for a wonderful day.
Billy Vickery
