The official opening of the new Amroth Parish Hall took place on Friday.
Although the weather outside was damp and dismal, inside the hall everything was warm, sunny and bright.
Chair Joyce Lewis welcomed everyone, including Rosie Swale Pope MBE, to this great event for the Amroth community.
Rosie officially opened the hall and unveiled the plaque with great aplomb and everyone within the hall warmed to her vibrant enthusiasm. She also cut a magnificent cake made by Margaret Jones.
Representatives of the funding contributors who attended were extremely impressed with the finished parish hall and wished the community great success in the future.
Tea and cakes was then made available to all attending.
A concert given by the Quaynotes in the evening was well-attended by many of the locality and it proved a wonderful finale to a great day for the parish of Amroth.
