Tenby's volunteer RNLI lifeboat crew rescued two individuals trapped on rocks between Waterwynch and Monkstone after being cut off by the tide.
Following a busy summer, where the RNLI crew were tasked to various call-outs across the locality, with the holiday season in the distance, after a quiet few weeks, Tenby RNLI’s inshore lifeboat was requested to launch shortly before 4.30pm on Thursday, October 23, after the Coastguard received a call from two people reporting they were cut off on the rocks between Waterwynch and Monkstone.
The RNLI volunteer crew made best speed to the area and soon found the casualties, who were brought aboard the lifeboat and returned to Castle Beach in Tenby.
