Tenby RNLI’s lifeboat crew had a call out during the inclement weather we’ve been having of late - responding to a report of a boat that was believed to have capsized.

The inshore lifeboat was launched at around 5.15pm on November 6, following a report by a member of the public that they had seen what looked like a possible upturned boat between Amroth and Wiseman's Bridge.

The volunteer crew made best speed to the area and on arrival, were directed towards the object by members of Tenby Coastguard rescue team, who were with the person who made the call.

With nothing found, but a large tree and with nobody reported missing, the lifeboat was stood down to return to station, arriving at 6.10pm.
