Tenby RNLI’s inshore lifeboat was called into action during Ironman Wales weekend in the seaside town, following the discovery of bags and a dog on rocks near Proud Giltar.
The inshore lifeboat was launched just before 3pm on Friday, September 11, after two bags and a dog were found on rocks near Proud Giltar, but there was no sign of the owners.
The volunteer crew were on scene a short while later and after a quick search, located two people climbing rocks nearby.
During a brief chat, the people confirmed that the dog and bags were theirs and that they were in no difficulty.
With nobody requiring assistance, the lifeboat was stood down to return to station.
