YSGOL Greenhill Tenby’s Senior Rugby 1st XV started their season on Wednesday, September 9, playing Pembrokeshire College at Haverfordwest RFC.

The opening game of the season was closely fought throughout until a last minute try to the college stretched their lead. Greenhill points were scored by Sonny Davies - who scored 3 tries and successfully kicked 3 conversions, accounting for 21 points; and Ryan Douglas-Law - who scored 1 try, accounting for 5 points.

The final score was Pembrokeshire College 40-26 Ysgol Greenhill, but the Tenby side was praised for “excellent effort and skills throughout.”
