The family-run florist, greengrocer and deli located at Bethesda Cross, just outside Saundersfoot and Tenby, ran a Bank Holiday competition.

“We’ve been blown away by all the support from locals and visitors this summer, so we thought it was only right to give back,” the local business posted on its Facebook page.

“As the weathers now turned a little cooler, we’re offering the chance to win a veg box full of local veggies.”

To be in with a chance of winning, entrants were required to follow the page, share the post and comment when done.

The competition closed at 2pm on Monday, August 31, 2pm, whereupon Marga was declared winner. She had already had the foresight to request some fruit as well as veg, and arranged to collect of her prize the following Monday when she returned from being away.

On receiving the veg box, Marga said: “It’s lovely.”
