Firefighters from Tenby were called to a vehicle fire at a property on Devonshire Drive, St. Florence, shortly after 5.30 pm on Wednesday.

A six-tonne excavator was well alight and brought under control by the fire crew, using a hose reel jet, granules and a dressing agent.

An Environmental Protection Unit also attended from Pembroke Dock Fire Station.
