Pembrokeshire County Council is warning of fraudsters trying to take advantage of the current coronavirus outbreak.

The Council has been made aware of an email scam being sent to residents regarding free school meals during school closures.

The email states ‘as schools will be closing, if you’re entitled to free school meals, please send your bank details and we’ll make sure you’re supported.’

This email is fraudulent and should be deleted.

Residents should always be wary of sending any personal or bank details in response to an unsolicited email.
