A man who assaulted his ex partner at a caravan park in Penally has been given a 12-month community order.
Thirty-wo-year-old James Meynell, of Ffynone Drive, Swansea, appeared at Haverfordwest magistrates court, last week to plead guilty to assaulting Lauren Meynell, on August 12.
Following a hearing, magistrates gave the defendant a 12-month community order, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. A restraining order was also made, stating that Mr. Meynell should not approach or contact the complainant and their son.
Mr. Meynell was fined £215 for the offence, and ordered to pay compensation to the victim of £150.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and an £85 victim surcharge.
A further charge saw Mr. Meynell ordered to pay £250 compensation for destroying a mobile phone belonging to the complainant.
