Coastguards were called to tend to an injured person today (Sunday, August 9) following a report of a person injured on Amroth beach following a fall on rocks.
Tenby Coastguard Rescue team were paged shortly after 3 pm, and when they arrived on scene, administered casualty care prior to the arrival of Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust paramedics.
The casualty was then evacuated from the beach by Coastguard officers and paramedics into an awaiting land ambulance.
Following further checks, the casualty was transported to hospital by family for further treatment.
