The police led search for Ben, reported missing from St Davids, continues today (August 6) with the support of specialist officers, drones, helicopter, marine unit, and specialist skills of HM Coastguard and the RNLI.
Ben was last spoken to by family at around midday yesterday (Wednesday, August 5) when he intended to go rock climbing, either in the Carreg y Barcud area, near Trelerw, or Caer Bwdy Bay, outside St Davids.
Ben is 47 and described as around 5ft 11in tall, of athletic build, with short brown / greying hair and brown eyes.
He was carrying an orange bag, and wearing black climbing shoes with an orange strap.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police stated: “We'd like to thank everyone that has helped so far and ask that members of the public stay away from the area for their own safety.”
