An arrest was made and a man airlifted to hospital after a collision in Solva yesterday (Thursday, May 18).

Officers responded to the scene of a collision involving a white VW caddy van, a parked car and a pedestrian on the A487 in Solva shortly before 9.30am.

One man was airlifted to hospital where his condition is described as critical but stable.

Another man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

The road was closed for several hours and reopened at 3.30pm.
