Another ‘Catch up with a Copper’ meeting will be held in Tenby this month.

The initiative which has been set up by Dyfed Powys Police and the Tenby Neighbourhood Policing Team with the purpose of engaging with residents on any issues they may have within the community, held its first meeting last month at Augustus Place Community Centre, with one now scheduled for Monday, March 25, between 6 and 7 pm, at the same venue.

“The first meeting saw a good attendance from the public with around 20 people coming along to Augustus Place to engage with us, so hopefully the good response will continue for our next meeting,” said PCSO Stephanie Rayner.

It is hoped that if the scheme is successful then other meetings will take place at other venues in the town itself, to help the Tenby Neighbourhood Policing Team meet with the towns people to discuss any concerns relating to their streets and areas.

Free tea and coffee will be served at the meetings, with all welcome to attend.
