Mary Galvin celebrated her 100th birthday with champagne and cake at Park House Court Nursing Home on Sunday.

Throughout the day, she received visits and greetings from family, friends and carers. Many were unable to be there and she would like thank them all for the cards and presents.

Mary was a Penally girl, but Tenby’s senior citizens will remember her as a partner at Frank B. Mason’s office in St. Julian’s Street were she worked for many years.

She was married to the late Con Galvin and her family consists of a son, daughter-in-law, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
