This coming Sunday, the garden at Rosewood, Redberth, SA70 8SA, is celebrating opening for the National Garden Scheme for 10 years.

The owners, Jan and Keith Treadaway (pictured) were presented with an engraved hand fork and certificate in recognition of this recently.

The garden has expanded this year (yet again!) by the addition of a pond and boggy garden area, which although in its first full year, is showing good growth and colour, no doubt partly due to our wet winter.

The same wet winter has also had benefits in the rest of the garden, which is showing exuberant growth and colour, with the signature clematis showing well as are all the other plants in the diverse and heavily planted areas.

As usual, there will of course be delicious refreshments on offer, with the selection of home made cakes being a particular highlight. The selection will include a gluten free option. Along with those will be the usual well stocked plant stalls.

The garden will be open between midday and 5 pm.

It is also hoped that a BBC Wales TV and Radio personality will make an appearance during the afternoon.
