Loughor 34 pts Whitland 6
Having been relegated from the Championship last season, Whitland got off to a disappointing start in their opening league game in division one west on Saturday.
Travelling to play Loughor, the Borderers slumped to a 34-6 defeat, their only points coming from the boot of outside-half Scott Newton, who banged over two first half penalties.
It helped them keep the deficit to just eight points at the break as they trailed 14-6, but after that Loughor turned the screw to add a further 20 points without reply.
