Whitland's Swalec Welsh Cup clash with Aberavon was postponed last Saturday. They will now meet in the rearranged fixture this Sunday, February 3, with a 2.30 pm kick-off.

Whitland 2nds, meanwhile, moves into the last eight of the CTS Cup with a hard fought victory away at Dunvant, winning by 21 points to 16.

At the break, Whitland led by 18 points to three, thanks to two early Scott Newton penalties, followed by an unconverted try by number eight Kieran White and a try by centre Liam Price, which was converted by Newton.

In the second half, Dunvant hit back, but Newton kicked another penalty to leave the score 21-16 to Whitland, who will now play Carmarthen Quins for a place in the last four.

Whitland Youth travelled to play Cardigan in a league match and gave a very good account of themselves, but lost by 18 points to five, with their only points coming from an unconverted try by Gethin Lewis.

Whitland Ladies travelled north in pool B of the Welsh Cup to play Caernarfon and came away with a win by 28 points to nil. As a result, they now sit at the top of the group, with two wins out of two.

Whitland scored four tries in the match, two by Nat Walsh and one each for Helen Price and Cath Davies, who also converted one and kicked two penalties.
