Budding triathletes will get the chance to improve their skills over the Easter holidays at a series of training camps being held at Tenby Leisure Centre.
The growth of the sport in recent years, helped by the town hosting Ironman Wales and the success of Pembrokeshire County Council's Go-Tri series, has resulted in the centre putting on six sessions for children in school years 3-7.
Each two-hour session will focus on different skills associated with the sport and the triathletes of the future will learn how to make the transition from one element of the sport to another smoother, making racing more efficient.
"Triathlon is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK and none more so than here in Tenby," said Stephanie Amos, a duty officer at the centre.
"We'll be holding a Kids Go-Tri race here on July 12, so this training camp over the Easter Holidays will be an ideal chance for participants to hone their skills, as all of the instructors are successful triathletes in their own right and will be able to pass on their experiences and knowledge."
Each session will start at 9 am, with the first being on Tuesday, March 31. Other sessions will be held on April 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9. Booking is essential and can be booked individually.
