Congratulations to Tenby local, fifteen-year-old Eddie Waring has been selected to represent Wales in the under 16s Boys division at the 2022 - EuroSurf Junior Championships to be held in Santa Cruz, Portugal, from July 14 to 24.

Eddie, a pupil at Greenhill School will have the honour of representing Wales and the opportunity to compete against Europe’s best junior surfers at the event this month.

This achievment has come after two great results in the Welsh surfing championships; third place in the junior under 16 boys competition held at Freshwater West; and a very credible last 16 in the men’s open competition held at Llantwit Major.

Eddie is very grateful for the sponsorship from Dean Gough of Outer Reef and the financial assistance received from Tenby Round Table.
