TENBY Sailing Club’s Annual Regatta on Saturday had to be cancelled with extreme temperatures and lack of wind.

Sunday on the other hand saw excellent sailing conditions for 33 craft to show their paces around Caldey Island.

Four cruisers, 18 dinghies, and 11 wing foilers were entered.

Wing Foilers: Strong winds behind Caldey prevented any of the six foilers who started from finishing.

TSC cruiser captain, Tom Eyre, presented the prizes and thanked race officer Jo Musson, beachmaster Terry Evans, and all the safety crew for making the event possible. He also thanked sponsors Penally Abbey Hotel, Coors, and AlpacaLipse.

Race officer Dewi set the course for six dinghy crews to enjoy a very pleasant evening on the water at Tenby Sailing Club on Tuesday, 8 July.
