LAST Friday’s presentation of prizes was part of Tenby Sailing Club’s annual dinner at the Giltar Hotel.

The overall dinghy winners and receiving the Cornish Down Bowl were Dan Jackson and Matt Goldwait.

In second place were Dave Griffiths and Maurice Clarke, with Peter Rose, assisted by Igor and Sharon, in third.

The Capsize Trophy went to Richard Johns after damaging his ribs when he capsized.

Tom Eyre organised many other prizes for members who had contributed to the season’s activities.

On Saturday, at the general meeting, new additions to the committee were Paula Subiani as welfare officer, and Kate Rogers.

Ben Roberts has been elected as sailing captain for the coming year following up on Dan Jackson’s tremendous efforts over the previous years.

Terry’s brain-teasing quiz is on Saturday, November 30th, followed by Sunday lunch on December 8th, The Club Christmas Party on December 21st, and, of course, A Grand New Year’s Eve Party.
