THE Tenby Dolphins enjoyed fantastic swims at the Pembrokeshire County Championships 2025.

With so many wearing the Dolphins’ green 50th anniversary hats in the pool, there were many incredible swims earning a total of 65 medals, 102 personal bests and placing third overall in the competition.

They landed 21 golds, 19 silvers 25 bronzes making Tenby & District Swimming Club very proud.

All the relay teams stepped up to the mark and produced top performances.

Top Tenby relay results:

Bronze: Tenby A - 13&U 200m Medley Relay, Ffion M, Jess, Elizabeth D and Isla

Bronze: Tenby A - Open 200m Medley Relay, Ffion G, Lily, Kathryn and Bron

Bronze: Tenby A - 13&U 200m Free Relay, Olivia, Elizabeth D, Hazel and Isla

Silver: Tenby A - Open 200m Free Relay, Ffion G, Kathryn, Lily and Bron

Several young Dolphin swimmers qualified for the Skins Event, a fast-paced elimination race where the top eight from the 200m IM go head to head.

Elisabeth D won gold in the junior event with Ffion M finishing seventh whilst Bron and Liz finished fifth and sixth respectively in the A final.

Cian, Luca and Sophiia competed in their very first gala and can be very proud of their performances.

A noticeable and very impressive swim from the weekend goes to Frances Monan, who dropped 36.68 seconds off her 100m Freestyle time.

Also a special mention to Elizabeth Davies who won every single race she swam in.

All the Tenby Dolphins coaches poolside, officials and parents were thanked for helping to make the weekend possible for all the swimmers. Galas like this would not be possible without their support.

Liz Clissold was also thanked for organising the entries and making all the events possible.

The club’s origins date back to Saturday, February 15, 1975.
