THE annual National Redwing Class Championships took place in Looe last weekend. Four Tenby Sailing Club boats made the journey, to join six boats from Looe.
After four races in very shifty winds, Robin and Ben Wood, sailing Tenby Sailing Club’s Redwing 244, emerged as National Champions for 2026.
Dinghy Racing at home
The best race of the season so far took place on Tuesday, 30 June.
Eleven crews, including juniors, instructors, and neighbours from Saundersfoot, enjoyed some brilliant racing in a good breeze.

Officials thanked Lewis and Peter for setting the course.

Cruiser Racing
The Annual Passage Race from Hobbs Point to Tenby attracted nine entries.
A good Westerly breeze ensured an exhilarating sail.
Division 1: 1, Miss Tiggywinkle; 2, Shotgun 6; 3, Maelstrom; 4, Red5; 5, Windsong; 6, Maverick.
Division 2: 1, Sea Otterp; 2, Wilson; 3, Apatshe.
