HURLY BURLY 10KM SWIM in Barmouth: Ceire Merrison 1hr 34 mins and Alan Richards 1hr 49. From Barmouth Harbour Beach to Penmaenpool with a fast incoming spring tide which acted like a Bore, it was very cold but amazing views of the mountains on edge of Snowden either side of the Estuary.

Will Lewis did the 10km run alongside on the Mawdacch Trial AND came in second place.

MUMBLES MIDDLE DISTANCE (Half Ironman) TRI: Stephanie Waring in a brill time of 5hrs 49 coming in 3rd Lady and 2nd Vet Lady and 29th overall (love that Vintage like a good wine us oldies!!!) David Kent 6hrs 14 coming in 2nd Vintage Vet (wow that’s old!) and Emma Richards 5hrs 51.

MUMBLES SPRINT TRI: Richard Graham, Emil Chwistek. Graham Fowke (for the Big Brums Relay Team) came 1st in 1hr 35. David Gosling 2hr 09 and Hel Murray 2hrs 38.

MUMBLES SUPER SPRINT TRI: Tom Smith 1hr 32.

PEMBROKESHIRE HALF MARATHON in Dale: Ed Clements coming in 2nd in a time of and Iain Rich in 2hrs. This run took in the climb to St Anne’s Lighthouse with superb views and over to Marloes.

FOREST OF DEAN HALF MARATHON Jessie Davies 2hr 38. This quite hilly run was a Multi Terrain race through the Forest on trials.
