Jordan Williams came off the substitutes bench to score what turned out to be the winning goal and it ensured that Narberth remain top of the table, with current champions Hakin United just one point behind them with a game in hand.

Narberth had the better of the early exchanges as Morgan Preece hit the crossbar and Adi Jones and Matthew Price had shots cleared off the line. However, Saundersfoot did call Narberth 'keeper John Durbridge into action, as he turned a driven shot onto the post and away for a corner.

No goals in the first half and it was Saundersfoot who opened the scoring early in the second half as Ryan Howells scored a spectacular free-kick, going in off the crossbar.

Narberth upped the tempo, but could not find a way past Ben Evans in the Saundersfoot goal and at one point, it looked as if it was not going to be Narberth's day as Matthew Price headed wide of the goal from about two yards out!

But, with 20 minutes remaining, it was Price who delivered a dangerous cross and Sam Coleman deflected it into his own goal.

It wasn't long before the Bluebirds were ahead as Matthew Price drilled the ball home following a good run by Richard Henton.

Narberth scored again with eight minutes remaining, Price setting up substitute Rob Shipton, whose effort hit the post, only for fellow sub Jordan Williams to gather the rebound and score.

For the second week running, Narberth had a tense finish to the game as Geoff Marsh headed home a free-kick with three minutes remaining, but the visitors were not troubled in the final minutes and earned another victory.

Tomorrow (Saturday), Narberth host St. Ishmaels, kick-off 2.30 pm.
