Narberth bounced back from recent disappointments to keep the pressure on the front runners for first division honours by winning away at Johnston.
Given their form of late, the result can be classed as something of a shock, despite the Bluebirds leading the way prior to Christmas.
An own goal set the ball in motion, before a Tony Evans penalty and a Jordan Williams strike sealed their 12th win of the campaign and compounded a miserable week for Johnston after they lost out in the semi-final of the Senior Cup to Merlins Bridge.
Two goals by Josh Jones were not enough for St. Clears as they came away from the Obs in Hakin empty-handed.
The division leaders won a hard fought match 5-2, although the Saints, and Jones in particular, did give the home side food for thought during the afternoon.
There's nothing worse than losing to your closest rivals and that's what Hundleton had to deal with as they made the short trip to Monkton Swifts, only to lose 6-1.
The visitors still have a chance of avoiding the drop despite languishing second from bottom, but with just six games to go, they will have to perform better than they did against the rampant home team.
Tom Powell scored Hundleton's only goal, but two goals from Sean Jones and one each by Joe Lewis, Richard Hughes, Dan Scourfield and Tom Meiring secured a comprehensive victory for the Swifts.
Pennar Robins, meanwhile, were away at Merlins Bridge and gave Tenby's Senior Cup final opponents a hard time, despite going down 3-2.
Phil Thompson and Sam Southcott were the goal scorers for the away team.
Tenby have without doubt been the form team of 2014, but their run of success came to an abrupt end on Saturday as they went down at home to Goodwick United.
The Phoenix Park outfit, with ambitions of their own to be crowned league champions, gave the Seasiders a hard time with a 3-2 win, although goals from Sam Christopher and a Jordan Richards penalty gave the home team hope.
It's been a difficult season for Saundersfoot Sports and, although they are out of the relegation zone at present, being just four points ahead of Hundleton in third from bottom, they will be hopeful of avoiding results such as they experienced on Saturday.
A trip to West Dragons was the order of the day for the Sports, but they came away with nothing following a 2-0 defeat.
They may still be bottom of the second division, but it still isn't beyond the realms of possibility that Kilgetty could avoid the drop, especially if they keep performing as they did against Johnston seconds, as they won the game 4-3.
Norton Williams scored twice for the home side, with Michael Scale and Anthony Lewis adding the others, in a rare win for the Kingsmoor outfit.
If they win their remaining five games and Pennar seconds gain no more than a point in their last game, then one of the greatest comebacks in sporting history will have been made in local football.
Had Angle won on Saturday then they would have topped division two and cemented their place as favourites for promotion, but they could only draw at home to third-placed Clarbeston Road who have ambitions (and games in hand over their opponents) of promotion of their own.
Dean Lawrence's fine form of late secured the points for the home side after Chris Richards scored the home team's opener.
Carew produced one of their best performances of the season as they disposed of visiting Letterston 5-1. Always a tough team to beat, the home side were an attacking threat all afternoon as goals by Rhys Winter, Alex Bailey, Lloyd Hughes, Iwan Izzard and James Heeps showed.
Pennar Robins' seconds, meanwhile, went down 4-0 at Herbrandston.
It's tight at the top of division three and third placed Tenby seconds kept up the pressure on Lamphey and Haverfordwest Cricket Club by drawing 2-2 at Broad Haven.
Ricky Rees Thomas grabbed the first for the visitors, before Declan Escott scored their second. Lawrenny drew, too, as they tied 1-1 at Clarbeston Road thanks to a goal by Owen James.
Lamphey remain in second place after a superb home win over Manorbier United. Aaron Hay scored twice for the home side as they dominated throughout, with further goals coming from Mike Davies, Anthony Webb and Rhys Griffiths.
For Manorbier, the goals were scored by Ben Williams and James Hall.
Cosheston Cougars were away at Merlins Bridge seconds and lost 4-1, while Narberth seconds were away at Pennar Robins' thirds and scraped a win courtesy of a 3-2 win. Tom Richards scored the first for the visitors before Declan Davies and Dafydd Wright got the ball past the 'keeper for their 11th win of the season.
Andrew Green and Phil John were successful for the home side.
Pendine showed yet again what an attacking force they can be when they're finally able to beat the weather, as they drew 4-4 at home to Milford United's seconds.
Craig Hurst and Ricky Hunt both scored a brace apiece for the home team in what was one of the most entertaining games of the afternoon in division four.
It was all-square at Carew as the home team's seconds tied 1-1 with Monkton Swifts' reserves. Scott Cowper scored for Carew, while Peter Worrall scored for the visitors.
The same score was evident at Hundleton as their seconds drew 1-1 with Milford Athletic seconds and Lewis Callen grabbed their only goal, while Zak Thomas's goal couldn't prevent St. Florence from going down 5-2 at Pembroke Boro after a hat-trick by Jason Beynon and a brace by Mark Evans.
Saundersfoot Sports' seconds had a day to forget as they lost 7-1 against West Dragons, with Sam Reeve scoring the home team's solitary goal.
St. Clears' seconds went down 4-3 at Prendergast Villa seconds, despite Neil Thompson scoring a hat-trick, while in the quarter-final of the Division Five Cup, Narberth thirds lost 5-0 at home to Angle seconds after goals by Gavin Wickland, a brace by Luke Wickland and one each by Jake Seaton and Chris Owen.
Cosheston Cougars are into the semi-finals, too, as they beat Monkton Swifts' thirds 4-2 thanks to an Anthony Yau strike and three from the boot of Ryan Bevan.
Meanwhile, in division five, a Johnny Harries goal secured Carew thirds a 1-1 draw at Camrose seconds.
