Pembrokeshire's football programme was disrupted once again by the weather as wet pitches put paid to a host of games being played.

All teams from Narberth and St. Clears had their matches called off, while Pendine and Kilgetty seconds spent their weekend trying to think of something to occupy their Saturday afternoon.

The same went for Tenby's teams, Manorbier's, Lawrenny and others, although a few were able to take the field in an attempt to play the game in near quagmeric conditions.

Kilgetty firsts were one such team, but their horrendous season continued as they went down 10-0 at Goodwick United seconds, meaning they are still firmly rooted to the bottom of division two with just three points to show from their 16 games and with nine matches remaining they are almost certain of a drop into division three.

There were mitigating circumstances for this result, the biggest being the fact that Goodwick had a few first team players in the side after their game was called off, but it must still rank as one of Kilgetty's worst results of the campaign.

The win allows Goodwick a little breathing space as they climbed out of the relegation zone, but they too have some work to do before they are safe.

Angle were playing up the road from Phoenix Park as they took on Fishguard Sports and they fared a little better than Kilgetty after winning 3-2.

Johnny Badrock scored twice for the home side, with Chris Richards netting the other for a result that keeps them top of division two.

There's no guarantee of promotion, however, as they are equal on points with Solva and Herbrandston who have played three games less. Clarbeston Road can be added to the mix as they have 34 points, while Prendergast Villa are not far behind on 31.

In division three, Pennar Robins' thirds lost 2-1 at home to Haverfordwest Cricket Club after Josh Sture scored, while Carew seconds defeated Milford Athletic 2-1 thanks to goals by Mark Davies and Paul Bullock.
